The Riella is a grandfather clock, 80 inches tall, in a Seaside Gray finish on select hardwoods and veneers with charcoal gray metal top plates on the column and base. A gear-shaped wooden dial in Seaside Gray holds a fixed charcoal inner gear marking 12, 3, 6, and 9, galvanized motorized gears in continuous motion at the center, black hands, and a red sweep second hand, with a gear-shaped charcoal pendulum below. Adjustable floor levelers keep it steady. The time-only quartz movement runs on one AA, two C, and one D battery (not included).

Allow a ceiling height of at least 84 inches and floor space of 20 by 9.5 inches. Stand it on a level floor, out of direct sun and away from heat vents.

Hang the pendulum on its hook through the front door, then insert the batteries in the movement.
Set the time and keep the case out of direct sun and away from radiators.
